On the weekend of June 28, 1969, the Stonewall Riot erupted in New York City. Presented exactly 50 years after the fight for LGBT equality was forever changed, Stonewall: A BWT 24-Hour Play Experience will inspire a team of Breakthrough Artists to conceive, write, direct, rehearse and perform a World Premiere play about the history and impact of Stonewall within a strict 24-hour time period. This unique theatrical event will provide an unforgettable opportunity for the artists and audience alike to reflect and celebrate the legacy of a quintessential breakthrough moment of history.
This reading is being presented at the beautiful La Jolla Library on June 29, 2019 at 4:30pm for one performance only and is free to the public, but a reservation is required.
