Breakthrough Workshop Theatre presents

OUR TOWN
Written by Thornton Wilder
Co-Directed by Terri Bratcher, Jamie Channell Guzman and Margot Nelson

Winner! 1938 Pulitzer Prize for Drama

Described by Edward Albee as "...the greatest American play ever written," the story follows the small town of Grover's Corners through three acts: "Daily Life," "Love and Marriage," and "Death and Eternity.” In this “Breakthrough Workshop,” the iconic role of the “Stage Manager” will be shared by the three co-directors, and as Wilder intended, it will be performed with minimal props and sets.  Audiences will follow the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry, and eventually—in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre—die.  Featuring a cast of 19 “Breakthrough Artists,” the one night only staged reading of this timeless classic is being produced by BREAKTHROUGH WORKSHOP THEATRE at the historic Diversionary Theatre.
