Breakthrough Workshop Theatre presents

THE MIRACULOUS JOURNEY OF EDWARD TULANE

Written by Dwayne Hartford, Adapted from the Book By Kate DiCamillo, Directed by Ira Bauer-Spector

Based on Kate DiCamillo’s beautiful novel of the same name, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is a theatrical tour de force.  Edward Tulane is an expensive toy rabbit made of china. He is loved unconditionally by a little girl, but Edward doesn’t care because he is vain and self-centered. When he is accidentally lost during travel, Edward embarks on an extraordinary journey lasting decades, learning along the way what it is to love, what it is to lose that love, and how to find the courage to love again.

Featuring BWT All Stars Cindy Alfonso, Ira Bauer-Spector, Nathan Bauer-Spector, Darin Bratcher, Terri Bratcher, Catherine Caldwell, Jake Goldfarb, Priscilla Ju, Heidi Maretz, Tess Maretz, Kathryn Martindale, Meagan Pitcher and Benjamin Shaffer.  Edward himself is being designed and created by Tammy Molenaar.

This reading is being presented at the beautiful La Jolla Library on July 28, 2019 at 2pm for one performance only and is free to the public, but a reservation is required.
